Hello, and welcome to the very first blog post on Zero Debt.

Zero Debt is a platform built to help people take control of their finances, understand their debt, and create a clear plan towards becoming debt free. Whether you're tackling credit cards, loans, overdrafts, or simply looking to improve your financial habits, the goal is to provide simple, useful tools that genuinely help.

The idea for Zero Debt came to me after reading about the growing levels of borrowing across the UK. Household debt continues to affect millions of people, and rising borrowing costs have made it even harder for many families to get ahead. For some, debt has become a normal part of everyday life.

I know that feeling of debt weighing on your shoulders.

It's hard to switch off from it when you're struggling month to month just to keep up with bills and everyday expenses. The stress doesn't disappear when you leave work or go to bed. It's always there in the background, and it can feel overwhelming.

I've used debt management and repayment tools in the past. While many of them do the job, a lot feel dated, difficult to use, or simply haven't evolved with modern technology. I wanted to create something that was clean, easy to understand, and actually enjoyable to use.

That's where Zero Debt was born.

The mission is simple: provide modern tools that help people understand their debt, build a repayment plan, and stay motivated throughout the journey. Becoming debt free is rarely an overnight process, but having the right information and a clear plan can make a huge difference.

To get started, Zero Debt offers a range of free calculators that anyone can use without creating an account:

These calculators are designed to help you understand your options, compare repayment strategies, and see how small changes can have a significant impact over time.

For those who want to go further, Zero Debt also provides a member platform where you can organise debts, track progress, and build a personalised strategy to help you reach your financial goals.

Sign-ups will open before the end of July 2026. We're taking the time to polish the dashboard and ensure everything is working exactly as it should before launch.

This is only the beginning. Over the coming months I'll be adding new features, new calculators, useful guides, and practical content focused on helping people reduce debt and improve their financial wellbeing.

If you're currently working towards becoming debt free, you're in the right place.

Thanks for visiting Zero Debt, and welcome to the journey.
