Using Zero Debt
Zero Debt is a personal debt-planning tool. It helps you compare payoff approaches, track balances and payments, and understand how changes affect your timeline.
By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the related Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Important service limitation
Zero Debt does not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, debt counselling, or investment advice. The service is a planning and organisation tool only.
Calculations, projections, and charts are estimates based on the information you enter. You are responsible for checking your figures and deciding what action to take.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens through your account unless the law says otherwise.
- Keep your email address and account information accurate and up to date.
- Do not share your password or use another person's account without permission.
- We may suspend access if we reasonably believe an account has been compromised or is being misused.
- We use email as the sign-in identifier and do not require a legal name or username at signup.
Membership, billing, and cancellation
Some features are available only on paid membership. If you choose a paid plan, pricing and key billing details will be shown to you before checkout.
Paid membership billing is handled by Stripe. Unless we tell you otherwise at checkout, paid memberships renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage billing details and cancellation through the membership area and Stripe customer portal where available.
If a payment fails, a subscription ends, or you cancel renewal, your access may change at the end of the paid period. Nothing in these terms removes any cancellation or refund rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Your data and content
You remain responsible for the data you enter into Zero Debt and for making sure you have the right to use it. You must not upload unlawful material or personal data about other people unless you have a valid reason and lawful basis to do so.
We use your data to provide the service in line with our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of the content you enter, but you give us permission to process it as needed to operate the service for you.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and reasonably. Do not try to break, probe, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where the law clearly permits it.
- Do not use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Do not interfere with security, rate limits, abuse protections, or billing systems.
- Do not submit third-party personal data unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where this is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment, operational protection, or suspected misuse of the service.
You can stop using the service at any time. If you want your account deleted, follow the account controls or contact us, but note that active paid subscriptions may need to be cancelled first.
Liability
We work to keep Zero Debt available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, misuse of the service, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update this page and, where appropriate, bring the change to your attention before it takes effect.
